In Del sogno, the hand-retouched monotype technique allows the elusive substance of desires and the unconscious to be fixed on Graphia paper. The 20x50 format guides the eye along a dreamlike horizon, where the mark becomes rarefied and imbued with the profound suggestions of the "La mia Africa" cycle. The memory of a journey takes shape in a symbolic image suspended between reality and vision. It is a unique piece of great compositional balance, in which every nuance tells of the preciousness of a moment.
