Decameron illustrated by Guttuso - Bestetti

Published by Bestetti in 1981, this luxurious folio volume (50 x 35 cm) was printed in a limited edition of 1,999 numbered copies. The work is illustrated with 11 reproductions of original works, specially executed by Renato Guttuso for this edition of the Decameron. Handmade in full leather, the binding features raised bands on the spine and titles embossed in pure gold. The endpapers are silk satin. The work includes a silkscreen print on an aluminum plate replicating one of the 11 reproductions; the silkscreen print is accompanied by a certificate guaranteeing its authenticity. The volume comes in an elegant linen slipcase.
