Daniela Sirigu - Passage No. 4

Daniela Sirigu was born in Nuoro in 1981, but at the age of four she moved to Tuscany, where she currently lives and works. She graduated from the art institute of Sesto Fiorentino and began working in the decoration sector. In the following years, she changed several jobs, but her passion and experience in painting led her to set up her own business as a painter and to have a studio in Prato. Her artistic path is constantly evolving, a result of her desire to always try new techniques and materials. Her genre can be defined as modern figurative art, or modern impressionism, characterized by a fast and forceful technique with full-bodied colors applied with a brush or spatula. She paints with various techniques, from watercolor to epoxy resin, but prefers to use oil or acrylic paint. His paintings narrate everyday life, glimpses and passing people. He uses his own photographs taken in the sunlight, often among tourists in the crowded squares of his beloved Florence, to portray harmonious compositions of shapes and colors. His are representations of life, of ordinary and casual moments, of unspecified emotions. In modern society, ever faster, people dissolve into the environment around them, losing their personal identity. He has participated in several group exhibitions and art competitions. Many of his works are in private collections, commissioned or selected from his own production.
