Corrado Mele - Landing Sails

First of all, we can note how Mele gives up his bright tones to create a practically monochrome surface. Furthermore, the compositional idea is very interesting, which completely breaks the accentuated two-dimensionality that we find in other works, in favor of a deep spatial opening, set on a suggestive diagonal cut. The expressive and dynamic brushstroke remains constant, which builds the objects with a concited synthesis.
