Claudio Giovanni Amore is an artist who lives and works in Grosseto. Born in 1965, he is a musician, a master printmaker, and more recently has also been dedicating himself to painting. In which he has found a highly personal style that draws on various stimuli and inspirations. Claudio Giovanni Amore's visual language is based, first and foremost, on a striking objectivity that plastically enhances the subjects and defines their contours, separating them clearly from the space. Color is distributed in compact chromatic zones, and the space is devoid of atmospheric effects. It is a language suited to surreal compositions, in line with the tradition of the historical avant-gardes and approaching movements such as Italian Magical Realism or German New Objectivity. Amore is no less complex and eccentric in his themes, which, moreover, are modulated according to different tendencies. In some cases, the deformation of bodies prevails; in others, a more pronounced geometrization, going as far as a true cubist deconstruction.
