Description of the work
Description of the work
Campi Elisi was created on a previously worked oil canvas depicting another subject that, according to the artist, no longer reflected who she was. Feeling that she was no longer represented by the old style, she decided to rework the canvas with a new subject, giving full freedom to her feelings and complete expressive freedom to her soul. Through color and light, she managed to bring forth a compelling landscape view, whose composition evokes inner spirituality and serenity—a serenity in which every soul can find peace. With Campi Elisi, the artist wanted to express that we draw serenity and peace from a profound bond that unites us with the very essence of nature.
