The work depicts a charming corner of Piazza della Rotonda, with a side view of the Pantheon. The artist chooses an original vantage point: they seem to be positioned almost at the corner of the square, to the right of the Pantheon’s façade. From this perspective, the temple’s columns stand out on the right side of the composition, while the rest of the image opens up to the square, revealing the fountain with the obelisk at its center and the colorful façades of the surrounding buildings in warm tones of yellow, red, and brown. The atmosphere is tranquil, almost suspended, with the square devoid of people, except perhaps for a distant, barely discernible figure.

The architecture is rendered with precision and recognizability, yet never slips into hyperrealism. The lines are defined, but the brushwork remains soft, almost suggesting a vision filtered through memory or the morning light.
