"Borders", boundaries

There are two types of boundaries: the physical one we endure because of imminent danger, and the imaginary one each of us creates to feel safe from a society we perceive as "liquid," impalpable, constantly changing, and one that prevents us from having stable relationships, goals, and dreams.

The danger, whether natural disasters or war, is represented by a meteorite (bottom right), which reaches Earth despite the barbed wire. The Earth appears insubstantial, a shapeless mass like water.

At the bottom left is the Ego, the man who manages to isolate himself like a hermit while looking at the world from above not out of detachment but to have a clearer vision of it.

His newfound ability to reflect on the fragility of life leads him to reach out to his planet to protect it.
