Betty Vivian - The Call

For Betty Vivian, painting has been a passion she has cultivated since she was a child. Her experience in Brazil was fundamental to the development of her pictorial language. The images and colors of that part of the world have remained in her heart and are now central to her artistic exploration, as are the emotions linked to those memories that the painter seeks to convey in her works. All of this is condensed into a painterly approach in which the color unfolds across the canvas in long, thin strips that create iridescent reflections. The touch is then soft, as if everything were enveloped by the veil of memory and emotion.
