abstract

I've been painting realisms of various kinds for over 30 years, perhaps because my teacher was a figurative painter. This is my first attempt at painting without constraints (although some realistic elements still appear: the flowers). I've always painted, even when drawing portraits, thinking of painting as a fundamentally abstract medium, made up of shapes, colors, light, and shadow, not meanings or narratives. In this case, I wanted to respect this maxim, producing colors and shapes that are more or less harmonious.

The transaction takes place with maximum security for both the seller and the buyer. We take care of the conformity (provenance, authenticity, state of conservation) of the work and handle the shipping.
