Description of the work
Description of the work
Arduino Rossi was born in Bergamo on June 9, 1956, where he lived his entire life. His youth was somewhat turbulent and contradictory, frequenting groups of diverse social, political, and religious backgrounds.
After a brief period of chaotic youth, he withdrew into his "disorganized" interests in the arts, poetry, literature, and painting. Always interested in the works of the most important painters of all eras, Arduino Rossi found personal fulfillment in painting. From childhood, he was inspired by his uncle, Severino Belotti, aka Severino Bellotti , a teacher at the Brera Academy in Milan, who had graduated from the school of the painter Loverini in Bergamo, at the CARRARA ACADEMY IN BERGAMO. His uncle, the painter, influenced, inspired, and advised his nephew. Arduino subsequently met several painters who frequented the Carrara Academy in Bergamo, including Carlo Tarantini.
Several painter friends guided and guided him, and Arduino, despite never having attended a formal painting school, always assisted, participated, collaborated, and breathed in art and pictorial technique. He began with charcoal, then moved on to watercolor landscapes. His style has now evolved toward the geometric and almost abstract dissociation of images, using acrylics. His impressionism also finds expression in natural landscapes.
Participates with two abstract works in the CONTEMPORARY ART EXHIBITION from 17 February – 14 March 2018, entitled “THE GENESIS OF COLOR”, AT THE SAN VIDAL GALLERY Scoletta San Zaccaria, Campo San Zaccaria – Venice, with critical mention in the Corriere del Veneto (insert of the Corriere della sera).
