“Alchimia” is a monumental work that combines traditional painting with luminous experimentation.
Mount Vesuvius in eruption dominates the scene as a primordial force of transformation, generating an energetic flow that connects earth and cosmos.
Mount Vesuvius in eruption dominates the scene as a primordial force of transformation, generating an energetic flow that connects earth and cosmos.
In the upper part, mythological and metamorphic creatures — horses, dragons, and symbolic beings — emerge in a dynamic and ancestral vortex, while a crystal skull stares at us, inviting us impetuously, almost menacingly, to participate in the alchemical vortex .
The work reveals a second level under UV light: invisible elements, such as large hands emerging from the lava, appear, creating an immersive and transformative experience.
Exhibited at the PAN – Palazzo delle Arti in Naples, “Alchimia” is a work that investigates change, making visible what normally remains hidden.
