After the Annunciation revisits and transforms Beato Angelico's celebrated painting, offering a contemporary echo of the scene. Through delicate layers of color, Campese does not depict the event itself but what remains beyond it: a poetic space suspended between memory and presence, between what appears and what withdraws from sight.
