Adolescence – Oil on canvas – Mirella Anna Renne

The painting shows the physical and psychological traits of a teenager: a very young face with delicate features, light green eyes, and a closed mouth in a thoughtful and worried attitude about the decisions she will have to make; at the same time, it shows childlike aspects such as the loose, loosely defined hair and the white flowers in her hair, a sign of simplicity and purity.
The background, created with a palette knife, is an understated color to give more strength to the figure.

The portrait emphasizes the intensity of the gaze and the presence of the subject. Dimensions: 40x40 cm.
