Serena Tamburini

SERENA TAMBURINI – MUSICIAN AND PAINTER Begins her career as a flautist before turning to sound research applied to electroacoustic composition. Her musical works have been performed at major festivals dedicated to contemporary music, both in Italy and abroad. She has collaborated with RAI and has been committed to promoting electroacoustic music. She teaches electroacoustic music composition at several Italian conservatoires. Painting has always been part of her life, particularly through her study of both ancient and modern artists. However, it was only after retiring that she was able to give her passion adequate space. Her works range from interpreted representations of social issues to pure fantasy, and from the figurative to the abstract, occupying above all an intermediate space in which the human real has not yet disappeared from its interpretation.
