Biography
Anna Lodi is an artist with a rich and well-established career. She studied with Goliardo Padova and, subsequently, with Tino Aroldi, a well-known master from Casalasco, who passed on to her a taste for landscape and for painting "en plein air", capable of capturing atmospheres and states of mind.
The profound bond with the Po Valley and the River Po has decisively shaped her artistic research: the waters, the embankments, the boschine and the vast skies become privileged subjects of an intense and poetic painting. Her works do not limit themselves to naturalistic description, but convey the light, silences and atmospheres of the Lombard countryside, in a constant tension between realism and poetry.
The painting of Anna Lodi is characterised by freshness of touch, immediacy and sensitivity, capable of transforming the contemplation of nature into emotion and an intimate dialogue with the landscape.
