Painting, when born from an inner urgency rather than a prepackaged academic path, possesses the rare gift of purity. This is the case with a self-taught artist who has chosen instinctive drawing as their chosen language since childhood, translating emotional impulses into graphic marks. This primal approach, free from theoretical superstructures, has evolved over time to find its expressive center in figurative art. For the artist, the figure is not a mere reproduction of reality, but a filter through which to decode the mystery of existence, moving with multifaceted sensitivity from landscape to sacred art, and on to portraiture. The artist's public journey began in 2017, in a context dominated by altruism and sharing: painting for charity markets. That experience, although lived in a limited dimension, represented the first fundamental bridge built toward the other. Today, what was once a solidarity practice has transformed into a true vocation. The act of painting has become an essential tool for personal and psychological well-being, a meditative refuge and, at the same time, an act of existential awareness: the firm will to leave a tangible trace of oneself for the future, a visual legacy capable of outlasting time. At the center of this production lies an indissoluble bond between interiority and transcendence. The artist draws inspiration from their inner self, but this deep mirror is reflected in a rooted Catholic faith. In their worldview, everything that exists comes from the Creator; consequently, nature, faces, and bodies become visible manifestations of the divine. Their painting thus takes the form of a secular and visual prayer, a devout thanksgiving for the beauty and complexity of life. The landscape becomes a temple, the portrait guards the soul, and sacred art becomes the natural culmination of an inspiration that seeks not provocation, but the contemplation of the sacred in everyday life. This complex spiritual architecture is faithfully reflected in technical choices. The artist's interpretive solidity is historically expressed through the use of oil paint and graphite. While graphite allows for the exploration of the essence of forms through the rigor of chiaroscuro, enhancing the introspective component of childhood drawing, oil gives the canvases a material density, a vibrant light, and a solemnity suited to sacred painting and expansive landscapes. Recently, stylistic research has opened up to the fluidity of watercolor. This new experimentation introduces a dimension of lightness and transparency, where water and pigment blend, accommodating the artist's original instinct in a more rarefied and evocative key. In conclusion, this artist's production is distinguished by a disarming authenticity. Far from commercial logics and the fleeting trends of contemporary art, they build an intimate and eternal diary. Their is a figurative art that nourishes the soul of the one who creates it and speaks to the heart of the one who observes it, offering a poetic testimony of how human instinct can become an interpreter of the greatness of the Creator.
