Biography
My name is Gabriella Colla, and I have been passionate about poetry for as long as I can remember. In recent years I have begun drawing with a pyrography tool and, more recently, painting. In 2021 I published the poetry collection "Sogni senza etichetta", which also includes some images of my works in pyrography and acrylic colours. Painting and poetry often go hand in hand, each inspiring the other. Poetry, painting and drawing give me a sense of timelessness, a space in which emotions, joy and great energy dwell. I was placed second at the first edition of the Concorso Nazionale di Poesia Città di Levico Terme "Il dono dell'acqua" (2022 edition). Furthermore, one of my poems was selected by Aletti Editore and included in the 2023 volume of the series "Verrà il mattino e avrà un tuo verso – poesie d'amore". A new collection of poems is forthcoming.
