Francesca Dringoli

Francesca Dringoli was born in Florence in 1978, where from a very young age she showed a marked passion for drawing, creating works as early as four years old. After attending the Istituto d'Arte in Arezzo, she was forced to interrupt her studies for family reasons, but she continued to express her talent by taking part in various competitions throughout the 1990s, always winning first place. At just 19 she organised a solo exhibition, selling around 40 of the works on display, which were mainly pastels and tempera paintings. Over the course of her career she has exhibited in Brussels, Madrid, London and Turin, also receiving recognition from leading critics such as Vittorio Sgarbi. The artist's favourite subject is flowers, because it is through them that she best manages to recapture the emotion of the moment, as if, with their beauty and fragility, they were a mirror of the soul capable of deeply touching the viewer. The chromatic range she uses often plays on contrasts between white, red and black, creating a sharp distinction between the flower, which stands out and detaches itself clearly from the background. Francesca does not limit herself to painting but also explores the creation of guitar stands, an innovative idea that earned her an award for best idea. Today she continues to paint on commission, seeking to infuse her works with the emotions of her clients, making each canvas a unique experience.
