Biography
Born in Udine in 1972. She graduates in Information Science from the University of Udine in 1999 and in Audiovisual Composition from the "Tartini" Conservatory of Music in Trieste in 2017. Her interest in technology and her desire to express her artistic creativity gradually converge and intertwine. In 1995 she begins studying figurative drawing and painting with Maestro Sergio Favotto; she experiments with various techniques before settling on those that allow her to express, more clearly, the expressiveness of gesture and colour. In painting, she favours material techniques, initially with acrylic and later with oil, while in drawing she uses inks and ballpoint pen. In 2013 her first audiovisual compositions emerge, in which she expresses her interest in concrete music, especially vocal music, and in the use of video processing integrated with animation and graphic elaboration. In 2016 she begins experimenting with the sonification of gesture, designing hardware and software platforms for the sonification of gesture and sound synthesis, which she uses in her electronic music compositions.
