Biography
Dimer Cavatton was born in Milan in 1963 and lives and works in the province of Verona. From a very young age he devoted himself to painting, and in 1989 he made it his profession, becoming a full-time artist. Since then, his research has never stopped and continues to evolve to this day. It reached its peak in the series titled "Oltre la materia", in which light dominates the composition and is perceived not only for its natural beauty but also as an intensely spiritual value. His personal metaphysical conception of space comes to life in works with dreamlike atmospheres, where the subject, when present, remains suspended in otherworldly settings. Over more than 30 years of career, he has experimented with and studied a range of techniques, from acrylic and oil to fresco, in both his figurative and abstract works.
