Biography

Maria Anna Di Giovanni was born in Trapani in 1971. She took up drawing as a child and has continued to nurture that passion ever since. Alongside her interest in drawing and painting, Maria Anna Di Giovanni has developed an interest in fashion illustration, particularly bridal gown designs. A self-taught artist, her work finds its place in a naïve style, in which the themes close to her heart are built on simple, linear drawing and highly expressive colours that emphasise her personality.
