Biography
Daniela Gentile was born in Sulmona on 27 July 1968. After graduating from the "E. Fermi" Liceo Scientifico, she began working at the CAF CISL in L'Aquila, where she looked after public reception.
Reserved yet attentive to her surroundings, Daniela loves reading, nature, animals and everything that conveys balance and beauty. Painting is for her a true outlet, a way of expressing herself with delicacy and freedom. As a young woman she took up watercolour, a technique she has recently rediscovered, and her paintings depict landscapes, flowers and quiet atmospheres, often inspired by her birthplace, Villalago, in the Abruzzo National Park, to which she is deeply attached. She would also like to dedicate a work to L'Aquila.
The soft colours, orderly compositions and harmony of forms reflect her character: sober, sensitive and essential. Her passion for art was passed on to her by her father, who drew portraits, and today Daniela continues to express this artistic vein through painting, observing the world carefully and translating into images what she loves. In her free time she paints, reads, walks in nature and takes care of the things that matter to her.
