Cosimo Nannavecchia

NANNAVECCHIA COSIMO was born on 5 February 1952 in Ceglie M., Brindisi. My passion for art has been with me since I was a boy. I started with watercolour, then went on to buy canvases, brushes and oil paints, and between the ages of 17 and 19 I devoted myself to painting a great deal. I met painters such as Mimmo Rotella and Omar Fedhan and drew inspiration from their working techniques. Later I joined the navy and stopped painting because of my job. When I picked up the brushes again in 2010, it seemed as though I had never stopped. My recent works have received several positive reviews. My latest exhibition, at the Hotel Parco S. Michele, had excellent results. I consider my paintings living works: every time you look at them you find something new, and they never grow tiresome. I sign my works COSMO.
