Biography
Bianca Bracci is a very young artist; one might say that colours were already placed in her cradle. At just ten years old, she already has a strong need to express herself through her paintings. In simple words, she explains that it is precisely from colours that she draws her happiness. To date, she works mainly in watercolour and acrylic. Art, initially an outlet, has become an increasingly important means of expressing states of mind. Her early abstract work, with its energetic and impulsive brushwork, has given way to paintings made with more deliberate methods, in which she sets aside the brush in favour of sponges. She describes how her works begin with feelings, from a single colour that then expands across the canvas into a chromatic universe, resulting in works open to dual readings depending on how they are positioned. She is also currently experimenting with figurative art, creating self-portraits, and she has begun to incorporate surprising elements such as dried petals, which add a three-dimensional quality to her canvases. Given her young age, the artist is still growing. With a curious spirit, she wishes to find ways to communicate and engage with a wider public, pursuing her great passion.
