Biography
The material brought to light by the artist Arianna Enea renews abstract painterly language, struck by an explosion of colours and forms. The painter, born in Civita Castellana, graduated from the Liceo Artistico "Tuscia" in Viterbo. Her artistic training led her to work as a designer for the leading tableware company "Gruppo Quadrifoglio", where she experimented with her figurative skills. Once her period as a designer came to an end, Arianna Enea felt the need to move beyond the figure in order to release her dormant creativity. The artist's complete materiality surfaces at the moment when, in her paintings, details relating to parts of the human body emerge, such as an eye, a nose and so on, which within the canvas seek to detach themselves from the dense, compact matter. This relationship created between the canvas, the artist and the viewer describes the intention to process the painterly matrix as a means of psychological and emotional expression, finding its ultimate representation in a thousand tones and techniques. Her passion for painting runs parallel to the creation of jewellery which, through brilliant colours and innovative forms, reveals a personality of pure creative energy. Over the years Arianna Enea has taken part in numerous significant exhibitions and competitions, including the Premio Internazionale Arte Visiva Leonardo (2025) and important group shows at Palazzo Ruspoli in Cerveteri, such as Racconti Notturni (2025), Visioni Parallele (2023) and La Cura (2023). She has also exhibited in the prestigious setting of the Basilica di Santa Maria sopra Minerva (2023) and in thematic exhibitions curated by InArte and Codacons. Among her principal experiences are also solo and group exhibitions devoted to the theme "Roma e l'Acqua", her participation in the Arte Laguna Prize competition in Venice (2015), and artisanal art exhibitions in Florence, as well as a long-standing collaboration with the Galleria Honos Art in Rome.
