Biography
The landscape photographer Andrea Sagui, through his mechanical eye, captures unseen moments of the natural world. From childhood, photography has accompanied his memories, from the days when he used disposable cameras to record his holidays in the mountains. Over time, his curiosity about this art grew stronger, driving him to study and master the technique. For the photographer, the most important part of his work is the preparation for the shot. The emotion of climbing high peaks and standing before majestic, incomparable nature is a magical ritual, which culminates in the final act of photographing. The emotional charge captured in the image conveys a spiritual dimension that reveals the stirrings of the soul. Andrea Sagui's photography reflects on the memory of emotion, on observation and on contemplation, where the colours of the landscape become thoughts. Light, which shapes the great mountains, is the cornerstone element with which the artist sculpts space, creating depth and defining the contrast between light and shadow. Andrea Sagui has had the opportunity to take part in various photographic exhibitions in Italy and abroad, also winning international awards for his photographic work.
