Thematically, there is a connection between the two languages ​​used by the Abruzzo artist: quotation and the revival of classicism. However, in a new contextualization that almost harks back to De Chirico's metaphysical gallery of images. Compositionally, the artist employs a highly evocative photographic approach. Finally, on a formal level, we can appreciate a high-level graphic technique: with fine hatching, Vito Pancella manages to give his subjects a sculptural volume. The plasticity is evident, especially in the complexity of the drapery.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n \u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003eVito Pancella was an artist originally from Lanciano, where he was born in 1945. He passed away in 2005. He trained in Rome with Pericle Fazzini and Lino Bianchi Barriviera. He taught and had a studio in the capital for many years. In 1989, he returned to Lanciano, but continues to work between Verona and Pietrasanta.
