Alongside a warm, color-driven expressionism, the artist also combines a type of work that emphasizes the exaltation of plasticity, as in this case. Notice how the composition centers on the main subject, solid in its heavy, rounded form. This figure almost becomes a gravitational center around which the environment seems to interact.
