The iconography is therefore an expression of a thoroughly Cubist language in which reality is broken down according to multiple directions and different points of view. The representation, therefore, goes beyond simple phenomenon and introduces the space-time dimension to describe the subject in all its possibilities.

Stefano Bressani's reworking of famous artworks using his clothed sculpture technique offers several avenues for analysis. The artist creates what could be considered a pop reworking of the Picasso legend. However, this recontextualization doesn't occur through the use of media; it's achieved through a collage of consumer materials (specifically, fabrics). Thus, we find a strong connection with New Dada and other Object Poetics, which is also evident in the creation of a relief work.

Stefano Bressani was born in Pavia in 1973.
