The artist uses a few incisive strokes, achieving an excellent physiognomic and introspective description with a caricature-like flavour.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003e Raffaele Spizzico was a famous painter and ceramist from Bari, born in 1912 and who died in 2003. In 1939, he opened the \"Spizzico Ceramiche\" factory with his brother Francesco. He taught and collaborated at the academies of Bari and Lecce. The Spizzico brothers won the Ceramics Competition organized by the Faenza Museum in 1965.
