Many of Quirino De Ieso's compositions, especially those in which he uses the \"reticulated\" technique, still reference reality, but the execution method is linked to a geometric reconstruction and, therefore, to a process of abstraction. Quirino De Ieso, born in San Giorgio la Molara in 1926, died in Noto on October 23, 2006. A complex artist, beyond painting, his interests also encompass music, mathematics, astronomy, and physics. The first exhibition of his works took place in 1957 at the Milan Triennale: from there, numerous exhibitions followed, both in Italy and abroad (France, England, Belgium, Poland, the United States, Malta, and Japan).
