The subject of clouds, central to the artist Maurizio Camposeo's most recent research, is nourished by this suggestion suspended, one might say, between nature and dream. In his works, clouds serve to direct the viewer's gaze toward broader horizons. The titles themselves suggest this type of reading, reaffirming the symbolic nature of Camposeo's paintings. From a more strictly formal perspective, the nature\/symbol dualism is coherently expressed in a refined style that skillfully blends the figurative and the abstract.
