Thus, in an operation similar to that of the great master, Rossi achieves an almost neoplastic reconstruction of the landscape, striving for a flat, two-dimensional geometrical structure constructed through bands of color. He learned his passion and the rudiments of drawing from his father Ferdinando, a wood sculptor and art school teacher. His education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, where he studied engraving under Giorgio Morandi, was crucial. He had a prolific career and exhibited his work at numerous events.
