A sort of expressionist synthesis, therefore, which, however, does not prevent the artist from inflating the volumes of the figures and giving them a geometric connotation strongly reminiscent of Cubist gigantism.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003e Giorgio Manzali trained as a painter and set designer, and since 1980, he has been an architect and designer in addition to his work as a painter. For Manzali, paintings and sculptures are born from a plan, which is why his entire artistic production is imbued with a distinct rationalist spirit.
