He is an Italian artist and architect, coming from a middle-class family: Grazia Rizzardi, a theater dressmaker, and Alberto Recchia, an office worker.\n\r \nWhile his father's relationship with him was difficult and conflicted from an early age, his mother's relationship with him enhanced the artist's experience through his association with the vibrant theater scene; it was, in fact, through his mother that he met many of the Arena's illustrious figures. A decisive moment in Andrea Rizzardi Recchia's artistic career was marked by his fortunate encounter with the Sbabos: Giovanna, an elementary school teacher, and Lino, who introduced him to the world of art. His challenging educational journey unfolded in two phases: first, his diploma in 1995 from the \"Napoleone Nani\" Art Institute in Verona, specializing in architectural drawing, and then, in 2004, his degree in Architecture from the IUAV in Venice, with a historical thesis focused on the Verona Cathedral. In 2010, never tired of learning and perfecting his skills, he began a design course at the Istituti Callegari in Milan.\n\r \nA second event shaped Andrea Rizzardi Recchia's life: his encounter with the renowned Veronese architect Rinaldo Olivieri in 1994, before he began his university studies. But a third encounter would be crucial to the launch of his flourishing exhibition career: the 1996 encounter with the Veronese artist Sergio Piccoli, from whom he inherited the same sense of chromatic synthesis and an extraordinary penchant for abstraction, even present in his figurative work.\n\r \nBeginning in the 1990s, he began a period of travel throughout Europe, especially to Spain, England, and France, a country with which he has distant family ties on his mother's side. Since 1998, Andrea Rizzardi Recchia has been present on the European exhibition circuit, having held numerous exhibitions and achieving considerable public and critical acclaim. In 2014, he was selected for the Triennale di Arti Visive in Rome by renowned critic Achille Bonito Oliva, attending the opening of the art show in the presence of critic and journalist Philippe Daverio. That same year, he was also chosen by renowned professor Vittorio Sgarbi for the Porto Franco project at Villa Castelnuovo in Palermo and for the first edition of the Biennale della Creatività in Verona, his hometown.\n\r \nCritics and professors have written about him: Vittorio Sgarbi, Achille Bonito Oliva, Paolo Levi, Sabrina Falzone, and Daniele Radini Tedeschi. Among the awards he has won for artistic and cultural merit, some are cited: the Lion of the Doges, awarded on April 20, 2013 in Venice; European Artistic Personality, awarded on May 4, 2013 in Brussels; Artist of the Year 2013, awarded on June 29, 2013 in Monreale (PA); Oscar dell'Arte, awarded on October 5, 2013 in Monte Carlo, and others.\n\n Among his most notable publications are: I Segnalati by Salvatore Russo (EA Editore), CAM Catalogo d'Arte Moderna (Mondadori Editore), Catalogo d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea (ed. Galleria Arianna Sartori of Mantua) and others. His works have appeared on many television channels, including TeleArena, Telepace and Arte Tv LAB.","brand":"Rizzardi Recchia Andrea","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":56210496782722,"sku":"ARIZZ005","price":1200.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0909\/7065\/3058\/files\/sinapsi-1.jpg?v=1768390642","url":"https:\/\/venderequadri.it\/en\/products\/andrea-rizzardi-recchia","provider":"Venderequadri","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
